The room Blue and Purple were in was now silent. The only thing penetrating such silence was the sound of their breathing, the sound of their clothes rustling as they looked around, and the sound of their footsteps. All of these sounds echoed off of the walls within this dark room, with the only source of light being Tatl and Tael. The two fairies fluttered off into the darkness, finding their way to a couple of strange objects far on the other side.

From where they stood, Blue and Purple could only make out three lumps protruding out of the ground, one much shorter than the other two. They decided to walk towards where Tatl and Tael were hovering, and once they were close enough to touch the objects, they were able to determine what they were. The two taller figures were statues of women with colorful masks on, and the masks were the only thing that had a color other than grey to them. Between these statues stood a tablet with some inscription on them.

“Here lie Ladies Kandora and Elora,” Blue read. “Their efforts for the land may have been forgotten, but their souls shall give us all the power to drown out darkness.”
“So these women are dead?” Purple asked.
“Yep.” Tael answered.
“They died trying to fight off the worst evil of their time. They were successful, though, so their efforts were not in vein,” Tatl explained.
“...Was this evil named Majora?” Blue inquired.
“Correct,” Tatl replied. “And her mask.”
“What's with those masks on their faces?” Purple wondered out loud.
“They made those in their childhood years,” Tael answered, “and were placed on their faces after their battle to help their souls to remember happier days in their lives.”
“That green and purple star-shaped one with the frills coming off of it looks pretty,” Purple commented. “Though, that blue moon one with red tears on it and bumps on the sides is nice, too.”
“Perhaps...” Blue mumbled. “Perhaps these masks are what can allow one into that dimension Majora was sealed up in?”

Something didn't feel right.

“That sounds good,” Purple mumbled in response. “Maybe Kandora and Elora enchanted them in their later days so that such a thing would be possible. Wanna grab one?”

The two of them nodded at each other and reached for the masks on the statues' faces. The moment they touched them, their hearts skipped a beat, and for some reason they couldn't let go of the masks anymore. Blue's eyes went wide, but Purple's stayed at a tone of childish curiosity, staring at the masks as if in a trance. The two of them could feel something flow through them, and it seemed like such an immense power. Just as they felt like they could handle no more of this power, it stopped, and suddenly there were hands wrapped around their wrists. They were such delicate...

cold......

stone hands...........

Just outside the boss door, Red's ears twitched.
“Is it just me, or did I just hear a girl screaming in there?” he mumbled.
Green merely looked at Red with curiosity. Apparently, he hadn't heard it.

....Once the screams echoed throughout the room, the place lit up, revealing something like that cosmos Blue and Purple were in earlier, only it had a walkway to a section of floor where the statues and the memoir stood. The details of the women were clear now. The one with the moon mask, which Blue was currently attached to, seemed to resemble Zelda in a lot of ways, and the one with the star mask, with Purple attached, resembled Link in a lot of ways, minus gender specific areas, of course.

Their delicate stone hands were tightly wrapped around the wrists of Blue and Purple as they pried the intruders' hands off of their masks. They hurled the two of them into the door where they entered, and the stone part of them started to crack off, revealing their individual colors. The woman who resembled Zelda seemed to have picked blue as her favorite color, for it was the only color on her outfit. She had black hair, but the tips and bangs were the same shade of blue as Blue's tunic.

The woman who resembled Link seemed to like purple and green as her favorite colors, and her hair was black as well. The tips and bangs were the same shade of purple as Purple's tunic was. The two of them floated in the air, their dresses flowing in a non-existent wind, and pointed their delicate hands towards Blue and Purple.

“What is your business here?” a powerful female voice asked. It appeared to come from the woman who resembled Zelda.
The two Links remained silent. Blue out of fear, and Purple out of a childish curiosity.
“I believe Nee-chan had asked the two of you a question,” the other woman asked. Her voice was mature, but it had a childish quality to it.
“We came here 'cause Majora's Mask wanted us to destroy its owner,” Purple answered with the same childish quality to his voice. “It said that this place was where we could get the ability to find her.”
The woman's hands clenched as if they were infuriated, and Blue cast a fearful eye at Purple as if telling him to shut up.
“No good can come of wanting to find Majora for ANY reason!!!” the blue woman stated in fury. “We worked too hard to stop her, and no one shall undo our hard efforts!!!”
“NO ONE!!!” the childish woman added.

They pointed their hands at the two Links again, and the tips of their index fingers glowed blue and purple. They traced some odd symbol in the air and then flicked it towards the intruders. Blue's eyes went even wider as the spell hit the door above them, causing many chunks of it to fly out. Blue took a better look at the damage on the door and gulped. It was now so thin that you could see through to the next room, which had been replaced by the cosmos they were now surrounded in.

“If you think that's bad,” the childish woman mumbled, “you should wait and see what we'll do to the two of you for daring to undo our efforts.”
Oh, SNAP! What's going to happen next? Are Blue and Purple going to die? Are they going to be able to calm the two ladies down enough to be able to get what they need out of them? Will Red and Green ever find their way through the boss door!?! Find out next time, on Four Swords Idiots! X3
